I'm using this blog to display the photos taken during my 365 Project. The idea of this project is that, by taking one photo each day for one year, and getting feedback from others (this is your part!), I will improve both my technical skills (i.e. learn more about how to use my camera) and also the composition of my photos. Practice makes perfect...or at least better!

June 15, 2013 - Last Stockholm Shot
I wanted the photo-of-the-day for today to come from Sweden, so I quickly took this shot while we were waiting for the taxi for the airport. This is simply a business located behind our hotel.

June 12, 2013 - King Harold V
Since I don't get to take the photo of a king very often, when I do, it deserves to be the photo of the day! The gentleman on the far left is King Harold V, the king of Norway. I would like to say that he came out to welcome us to Oslo today, but he was actually there for the grand opening of the new building to house the Flam, the ship that was used for several Norwegian polar expeditions.

June 9, 2013 - Norwegian Farm Scene
This morning we visited a traditional working farm near Sognefjord, Norway, and got to meet a typical Scandinavian family. The farm was actually one farm in a farm cluster, where the farm buildings were grouped together and there was a certain level of cooperation between the farmers in the cluster. It was located overlooking the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. This is an HDR image of some of the buildings in the cluster we toured.
