This morning we explored the south end of Hilton Head Island, including the area known as Harbour Town.  The landmark in this area is the lighthouse pictured to the left.  We went into the lighthouse and the photo above was taken from the bottom looking up toward the top.
This morning we explored the south end of Hilton Head Island, including the area known as Harbour Town.  The landmark in this area is the lighthouse pictured to the left.  We went into the lighthouse and the photo above was taken from the bottom looking up toward the top.We climbed the stairs to the top where we found a gift shop. Normally guests are allowed out onto the observation deck at the top where I could have taken some great photos, but due to the high winds today, this area was closed to the public.
