November 19, 2013 - Victory Memorial Drive

In my younger days, I would ride my bike from our home in Fridley to North Memorial Hospital and back (around 20 miles).  Along the way I would ride along Victory Memorial Drive in Minneapolis.  Today I drove along Victory Drive and discovered that they had placed these nice monuments at both ends.  There are lights in front of them, so I may go back some evening and get a night shot.

November 5, 2013 - Reflections on the Mississippi

I really enjoy capturing reflections!  Since the weather forecast is white (e.g. snow) later today, I got my shot this morning rather than waiting.  This is a railroad bridge over the Mississippi River going from Nicollet Island to downtown Minneapolis.
