March 31, 2013 - Snow Horses

Driving around North Oaks, Minnesota, looking for a good photo, I came upon these horses on this narrow strip of land between two ponds.  I took a shot of the white horse and its reflection, but I like this shot better with the contrast provided with the brown horses in the composition.  Did you notice the Canadian Geese in the foreground?

March 30, 2013 - Easter Decorations

We were at St. Philip's Lutheran Church in Fridley, Minnesota, this morning helping to decorate the sanctuary for Easter morning.  One of the beautiful features of our sanctuary is how the cross creates a shadow on the back wall.

This is a shot of our granddaughter sliding down a dike in Moorhead, Minnesota.  It wasn't until I copied this photo to my laptop that I realized that she had her eyes closed!  I don't know if they were closed just for the instant I took the shot or if she had them closed for the entire ride.
